Explanation
The first surprising thing in this joke is that two snowmen bump into each other and start talking. They are made of snow and should be static: imagining their rotund shapes moving is already funny, and picturing them speak like two perfectly normal people in the middle of the road is both unexpected and amusing.
But the punch line comes when one of them, surprised, asks the other if it'’s normal that everything should smell of carrots. It’s not normal, of course… but then we realise what it is that snowmen have always had fitted as noses. Yes! Precisely: carrots! Hence, the showman is smelling his own nose. Very bizarre, and very funny.

Explicación
Lo primero que nos llama la atención de este chiste es que dos muñecos de nieve se encuentren y hablen. Están hechos de nieve y están inmóviles: imaginarnos sus redondas formas moverse nos hace gracia y que se pongan a hablar como dos personas normales y corrientes por la calle es divertido e inesperado.
Pero lo mejor viene cuando uno de ellos, extrañado, pregunta al otro si es normal que todo huela como una zanahoria. No es normal, desde luego… pero en ese momento caemos en qué se ha puesto toda la vida como nariz a los muñecos de nieve. ¡Sí! ¡Precisamente zanahorias! Así que lo que está oliendo el muñeco es su propia nariz. Muy curioso y muy divertido.
