Este es uno de esos típicos chistes que llaman "de reacción larga". Vamos, que cuando nos lo cuentan por primera vez nos quedamos pensativos y no es hasta pasado un momento que lo comprendemos. La primera reacción es decir "¡Jo, qué malo!", pero después le empezamos a pillar la gracia.
Sí, el niño del chiste por alguna razón no sabía que el día de su cumpleaños se celebra el día de su nacimiento. Quizá para él su cumple es una fiesta con una fecha elegida porque a los padres les venía bien. Ahí es donde viene la gracia del chiste que más gusta a los mayores: que el niño pensaba que la fiesta con la tarta, las velas y los amigos se celebraba "porque sí".
Aunque, ahora que lo pensamos, quizá fuese mejor que el cumpleaños fuese un día distinto al de nuestro nacimiento... ¡Así tendríamos dos fiestas al año que celebrar!
